HAPPY WEDNESDAY ANGEL SOULS!! Here is your mid-week reminder that “Your body is not a coffin for pain to be buried in”. Find the deep pain and move the energy, my loves. Whether it be through stretching and releasing tension in your body, or through connecting to your breath in a breath work exercise, there are so many ways to resurrect and release. One of my favorite ways to move energy/emotions is just by turning on some music that resonates with whatever I’m feeling at the moment (tbh it’s usually something Dermot Kennedy), then I ask myself to be brave for 5 seconds and let myself feel the exact thing I do not want to feel. Once I am feeling it, I let my body move to the music however it needs to. I let myself process the feeling via movement, until it feels complete. *Listening for when it feels complete, and coming back to the surface at that point is essential. It’s like your body asking to come up for air when you’ve been holding your breath. You don’t want to stay underwater too long 😉* Can you set aside 30 mins today to resurrect your pain, in whatever way you wish to? Literally any class in this space is supportive of that journey.
